Lincoln County Power believes it important to support our youth. They are the future. We have three different programs intended to help our youth gain skills, confidence and money.
Youth Employment
Each summer we offer at least two jobs. One job every summer is in the office where a student can learn customer service skills, book keeping skills and clerical skills. The other job is working with a line or substation crew where a student can learn about line and substation construction and maintenance. Jobs are posted and advertised every April. Apply only when the positions are posted. Positions will be posted on our Facebook page and on the Employment page on our web site.
Scholarships
Every year we offer one scholarship to a graduating senior at Lincoln County High School and one scholarship to a graduating senior at Pahranagat Valley High School. Each scholarship is in the amount of $2,000. Interested seniors should see their high school counselor for more information.
UREA Youth Leadership Camp

The program is designed to build confidence and leadership skills. Applications are for the program are taken through during the fall of each year and coordinated through the counselors at Lincoln County High School and Pahranagat Valley High School.
