Service DropWe are proud that our rates for electric service are among the lowest in the state and well below the national average.


We provide electric service throughout Lincoln County, Nevada, except for Caliente and the Pahranagat Valley areas.  We also provide electric service in Coyote Springs in Clark County, Nevada.  Customers located in Lincoln County are identified as "Rural System" customers and those in Coyote Springs are identified as "Urban System" customers in our rate schedules.

Rural System

 

Residential:  For all domestic residences receiving service from existing facilities located within the Rural System.  (Rate Schedule:  RS-R).

 

Small Commercial:  For all commercial, industrial, church, governmental and street lighting facilities receiving service from existing facilities located within the Rural System.  The customer connected load must 50 kVA or less.  (Rate Schedule: SC-R).

 

Commercial and Industrial Over 50 kVA:  For all commercial, industrial, governmental and street lighting facilities receiving service from existing facilities located within the Rural System. The customer connected load must be 51 kVA or greater. (Rate Schedule: CI50-R).

 

Large Municipal Pumping:  For all municipal water wells that use electric motors that are 200 horsepower or greater receiving service from existing facilities located within the Rural System.  (Rate Schedule: LMWP-R).

 

Irrigation:  For service directly to irrigation pumps and pivot motors receiving service from existing facilities located within the Rural System.  (Rate Schedule: IRG-R).

 

Small Mixed Agriculture:  For all agriculture related production facilities receiving service from existing facilities located within the Rural System. Service shall be provided at the primary distribution voltage level on the secondary side of a Lincoln County Power District No. 1 substation.  The customer interconnected load must be less than 500 kVA.  (Rate Schedule: SMA-R).

 

Large Mixed Agriculture:  For all agriculture related production facilities receiving service from existing facilities located within the Rural System. Service shall be provided at the primary distribution voltage level on the secondary side of a Lincoln County Power District No. 1 substation.  The customer interconnected load must be greater than or equal to 500 kVA.  (Rate Schedule: LMA-R).

 

Urban System

 

Residential:  For all domestic residences receiving service from existing facilities located within the Urban System.  (Rate Schedule:  RS-U).

 

Small Commercial:  For all commercial, industrial, church, governmental and street lighting facilities receiving service from existing facilities located within the Urban System. The customer connected load must 50 kVA or less.  (Rate Schedule: SC-U).

 

Commercial and Industrial Over 50 kVA:  For all commercial, industrial, governmental and street lighting facilities receiving service from existing facilities located within the Urban System.  The customer connected load must be 51 kVA or greater.  (Rate Schedule: CI50-U).

 

Large Municipal Pumping:  For all municipal water wells and booster stations that use electric motors that are 75 horsepower or greater receiving service from existing facilities located within the Urban System.  (Rate Schedule: LMWP-U).
